DO I HAVE SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER?
If you think that you may have social anxiety disorder, a widely used method to determine your anxiety levels is the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Test. By completing the test below you will be assigned a final rating which will correspond with a level of social anxiety. Please be advised that the Liebowitz Test is not to be treated as a formal diagnosis but rather an indicator to having the condition. Where possible, the appropriate assessment and diagnosis should be obtained from a training medical professional.
If the test indicated that you suffer from social anxiety, the first thing you need to remember is that at least 1 in 8 people have social anxiety disorder. Step Out Ireland Support groups provide an opportunity to meet other people with the condition, increase social confidence and remove yourself from the isolation associated with social anxiety.
